This drum shade is great for traditional lamps, and gives off a bright translucent light. *Please note, this shade has a recessed spider, which sits roughly 1.5"-3" below the top of the shade, depending on the size. The larger the shade, the greater the recess.

How To Choose The Right Lampshade

If you are replacing an existing lampshade it may help to measure it first. Start by measuring the widest part (diameter) of the top and bottom of your shade, then finish by measuring the slant/height along the side.
